Positron emission tomography (PET) technology can detect the presence of tumors in the "metabolic abnormality" stage and express them in the form of images. It can detect tumors earlier than structural imaging, and achieve the purpose of early diagnosis and early treatment. Because the metabolic function of the mammary gland in the process of carcinogenesis often changes earlier than the structure of the mammary gland, the use of mammography PET is compared with the structural information obtained by clinically existing mammography imaging equipment such as molybdenum target, ultrasound, CT, and nuclear magnetic resonance. Checking the functional information obtained is more conducive to the early diagnosis of breast tumors.
