Vegetable greenhouses

Every autumn, in the vegetable greenhouses in southern Anhui, Qingzhou, Changle, and Shouguang, chicken feathers began to breed. They often crawled into the seams of vegetable farmers, biting the skin and sucking blood. Itching was extremely high and seriously affected the farming of friends. operating.

Chicken feathers are commonly known as chicken dumplings. It is a parasite on chickens and belongs to the genus Amphiprion of the amphibian, which is a small form that is visible to the naked eye and indistinct. There are more than 40 such pests, and there are three common ones, namely, chickens, plumage, and head lice. About 3 to 4 mm in length, most of them parasitize under the anus of chickens, and there are also under the chest, back and wings. The head lice are about 2.5 mm long and parasitize the chicken's head and neck. Feather maggots are about 1.7 to 2 mm long and parasitize on chicken wings. They usually feed on chicken feathers and their secretions, and sometimes they also suck blood.

Chicken feathers in vegetable greenhouses are brought in by unfamed chicken droppings. Chicken manure contains a large number of eggs and larvae of chicken feathers. The suitable temperature and humidity conditions are particularly suitable for the breeding of chicken feathers. After a period of time after chicken manure is used, there are many chicken feathers in the greenhouse. Under normal circumstances, chicken feathers do not harm the crops, but they will harm the vegetable farmers in the shed.

Because most of the underground pesticides have no effect on chicken feathers, some vegetable farmers had to tie their legs in plastic bags while working, and some applied pesticides such as dichlorvos on the soles to prevent chicken feathers from climbing up. body. In fact, there are many ways to prevent chicken flu and harassment.

Before application, the chicken manure is fully decomposed, and the high-temperature fermentation not only decomposes and eliminates the harmful substances in the chicken manure, but also eliminates the harmful eggs and pathogens carried therein, including the eggs and larvae of chicken feathers.

After applying a large amount of chicken manure, combined with the prevention of pests such as cockroaches, golden needles, and thrips, 200 g of 15% chlorpyrifos emulsion per 100 m2 will be applied. Cucumber is sensitive to chlorpyrifos and can be replaced with 20% cyanide marathon EC at the same dosage.
