Boron deficiency symptoms

First appeared in the tender part, the new leaves were deformed, shrunken, and the veins were irregularly chlorotic, often with burnt spots. The leaves of the old leaves become thick and brittle, deformed, and turn into dark yellowish green or purple-red spots, and the branches are short in internodes. Boron deficiency can also cause the development of buds, flowers, and ovary to be blocked or shed. The fruits and seeds are not full, the fruit is deformed, and the pulp is corked or dried.

1. The top of the soybean is withered in the absence of boron, the leaves are thick and shrunk, the plants are dwarfed, the top of the main root is dead, and the lateral roots are many and short, the root nodule develops abnormally, the flowering is not normal or the flowering is abnormal, and the scab is less and deformed.

2. When the boron deficiency in maize, the upper leaves showed white transparent stripes, the growth points were inhibited and the heading was blocked. The ear has a short and curved deformity and the top grain is empty.

3. When the tomato is deficient in boron, the cotyledons and leaves of the seedlings are purple, and the leaves are hard and brittle. The stem growth points are black and dry. The top branches of the plants curled inwards, yellowed and died. Fruits are in inconsistent maturation, malformation, and brown spots or black spots on the skin.
