BACKGROUND <br> trace contaminants in the analysis of complex environmental samples, often severely disrupted matrix effects, such detection, the challenge facing the instruments must meet the sensitivity requirements of performing sub-ng / g levels. Insecticide exposure can cause lethal and sublethal effects on the colony. To monitor the effects of these effects, the level of pesticides in bees and bee products needs to be reliably quantified. The use of imidacloprid insecticides in a region to deal with insect damage has also contributed to the monitoring of bee colonies in the area. We performed imidacloprid residue analysis on bee samples and pollen products in the area. Two types of samples are extremely complex, containing an average of 20% of the pollen proteins and 1 6% total fat, and further contains a lot of vitamins, fatty acids, enzymes and pigments. In the following study, we used a Waters Sep-Pak® C 18 cartridge to remove large amounts of matrix interferences by a specialized extraction technique and high sensitivity Xevo TQ-S for imidacloprid in the pg/g concentration range. Reliable testing was performed.
