1. What is bisphenol A?
Bisphenol A, also known as BPA, is used industrially to synthesize materials such as polycarbonate (PC) and epoxy resins. It is arguably one of the most widely used industrial compounds in the world. It is widely used in canned foods, beverages and Cosmetics packaging, bottles, water bottles, sealants used in dental fillings, spectacle lenses, coatings and hundreds of other daily necessities.
2. What are the hazards of bisphenol A?
Although bisphenol A is a low-toxic chemical, animal experiments have found that bisphenol A has the effect of mimicking estrogen. Even a very low dose can cause the animal to have precocious puberty, decreased sperm count, and prostatic hyperplasia. In addition, there are data showing that bisphenol A has certain embryotoxicity and teratogenicity, which can significantly increase the occurrence of cancers such as ovarian cancer, prostate cancer and leukemia.
Third, the detection of bisphenol A
1 , use:
The immunoaffinity column can selectively adsorb bisphenol A (BPA) in the sample solution, thereby specifically purifying the bisphenol A sample, and the sample liquid purified by the column can be directly detected by high performance liquid chromatography. The content of phenol A.
The affinity column can be used in combination with HPLC to achieve rapid measurement to improve signal-to-noise ratio and improve the accuracy of the detection method.
2 , principle:
The basis of the assay is the antigen-antibody reaction. The antibody is attached to the column. The bisphenol A in the sample is extracted, filtered, diluted, and then slowly passed through the bisphenol A immunoaffinity column. The antibody in the immunoaffinity column is combined with bisphenol A. The immunoaffinity column is then washed to remove other unrelated substances that are not bound. The bisphenol A was eluted with methanol and injected into an analytical instrument for detection.
3 , packaging composition:
Each box contains 5 bisphenol A immunoaffinity columns and 1 instruction manual.
