The relative humidity of the air should not be lower than 80%, and the best is about 85%.

How can we meet the temperature and humidity requirements of ambient air in the fruiting bodies of edible fungi? There are two practical ways:

1. Spray water on the ground or directly on the mushroom body. The advantage of manual watering is to save on input costs, but there are two drawbacks:

1. The humidity control is not accurate. If the humidity is too low, the yield of the mushroom will be affected. If the humidity is too high, the mushroom body is prone to contamination by bacteria;

2. Labor costs and work efficiency caused by artificial water spray are also to be discussed; if during the mushrooming period, it is necessary to spray water frequently on the ground.

Keep the air at 85-90%, but after the mushroom bud appears on the material surface, it must be noted that it cannot be sprayed directly onto the mushroom bud;

Only when the mushroom buds are differentiated into caps and stipe, can the spray, fine spray, and spray water be used to make up the water demand, which is conducive to the physical growth.

Therefore, the method of using artificial water spray is very low cost.
