Weaned sows do not have heat for the following reasons:
a) Sows consume excessive body fat during breastfeeding and their nutritional status is poor.
b) Weaned sows are too fat and cause ovarian lipids to moisten and affect the normal development of the ovary.
c) The sow's breast-feeding time is too long, and the pregnancy corpus luteum does not decline in time after weaning, directly affecting the development of the ovary.
d) The slower uterine inflammation of the sow is more severe. The uterus stores pus, which misleads the sow's brain conditioning center into thinking that it is pregnant. It produces an abnormal luteal body in the ovary and cannot enter the normal estrus cycle.
e) The ovaries of the sow have produced pathological changes, such as ovarian cysts or atrophy of the ovaries, which also affect the normal physiology of the ovary.
