Fume hood use precautions

1. It is necessary to check whether the power supply voltage is in accordance with the regulations of the fume hood. The exhaust motor must be inspected regularly. If you find any problem, please contact our after-sales service department. Do not choose to repair.

2. Before using the fume hood, the laboratory can work in the cabinet before turning on the exhaust fan.

3. When performing low-explosion and spattering experiments, the glass panel of the fume hood must be closed. It is strictly forbidden to carry out strong explosive experiments in the cabinet to ensure the safety of the operator.

4. When operating the experiment, do not use any part of the body such as the head or hands, and even other hard objects collide with the glass movable panel.

5. When using the fume hood, it must be operated on the working surface. Do not carry out dangerous and toxic experiments outside the cabinet to prevent the toxic gas from evaporating into the room, endangering the safety of the staff.

6. When using an electric furnace in a fume hood, it is recommended to place an asbestos pad or a heat insulation board under the electric furnace.

7. After the experimental operation is completed, the exhaust fan should be kept running for about 1-2 minutes to ensure that all toxic gases and residual exhaust gases in the fume hood are discharged.

8. After the experiment is completed, turn off all the power supplies, then clean the fume hood, remove the debris and solution splashed on the countertop or side panel, and do not clean it when the battery is running or the motor is running.
